Affiliation

Managerly and Slack Technologies Inc, the provider of the Slack communication service, (“Slack”) are different entities. There is no relationship between Managerly and Slack, other than Managerly being a licensee and user of the Slack API for the purpose of providing OKRs by Managerly.

Slack is not responsible for OKRs by Managerly and will not provide support for OKRs by Managerly. The Agreement does not apply to your use of the Slack services. Such use is governed by the Slack Terms of Service available on the website slack.com.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account with Managerly Services, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You may request your data by emailing us at support@managerly.app.

What is Managerly's data storage policy?

We may collect, hold, use and disclose information for the following purposes and personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes:

  1. to provide you with our platform’s core features;

  2. to process any transactional or ongoing payments;

  3. to contact and communicate with you; and

  4. for internal record keeping and administrative purposes.

Storage

Our main hosting providers are Mongo Atlas and Amazon Web Services, both located within the United States to protect and store your information. They’re updated regularly and follow the latest global security standards in data protection and privacy. Whenever you act with one of our services, your data transmitted through secure connections. 

Log Data

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details.

Personal information

This means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may ask for, or may receive from Slack (if you’re using one of our Slack apps) after your approval, personal information, such as your:

  • Name (first name and last name)
  • Email
  • Slack username
  • IP address

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. 

How long does Managerly retain your data?

Data will retained until you make the decision to delete it. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data

OKRs created by you and your team members via the Slack services using the Managerly Service may contain proprietary and confidential information. By using the Managerly Services you grant us the right to transmit and store the information contained inside the app for the purpose of providing the Managerly Services and you warrant that other team members have also consented to such use by us.

You warrant that you are the creator or licensee of, or have the authority from the creator(s) of, all intellectual property rights in the OKR app and that use of them in these by us as contemplated by the Agreement does not violate the terms of the Agreement, applicable law, or the intellectual property rights of others.

You will be liable to us and indemnify us for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your breach of the warranties contained in this data clause.

Activity

User activity using Managerly Services will be recorded to improve service. By using the Managerly Services you grant us permission to store non-identifiable information of user behavior such as buttons, fields, and modal interaction.

Cancellation of Paid Subscription?

You may cancel your Paid Subscription by notifying us at support@managerly.app. The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and you will be downgraded to the Free Service. You will not receive a refund for subscription fees paid to us. If you are a consumer residing in the United Kingdom or the European Union, and do not use our Services for business purposes, you have the right to cancel your Paid Subscription and receive a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase. 

Changes to this policy?

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our service. Your continued use of this service after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.

If we make a significant change to this privacy policy, for example changing a lawful basis on which we process your personal information, we will ask you to re-consent to the amended privacy policy.
