Your OKRs

What are OKRs?

An OKR (objective and key result) is managed in “Your OKR” section. Only you can update or delete your OKRs. Managerly provides every member in the workspace a “Your OKRs” section. OKRs that are created here can only be edited/deleted by the member who created that OKR.

Employees that add team members are considered managers and will be responsible for maintaining the OKRs for their team members.

Team members will see your OKRs in the “Team OKRs” section. Since employees could be in multiple teams, Team OKRs will display all OKRs where an employee has been added as a team member.

How to add OKRs?

  1. From the Home tab, click “Add OKR”.
  2. The “Add OKR” modal will open. 
  3. Complete the form by entering the OKR, Key Results, and Due Date fields.
    • You have Slack’s markdown syntax available to make your OKRs as expressive as you like them to be!
  4. Click the “Submit” button.

How to update an OKR?

  1. To update an OKR, you first need to add an OKR. 
  2. Click the overflow icon “(…)” and select “Update OKR”.
  3. The “Update OKR” modal will open.
    • Remember: you have Slack’s markdown syntax available.
  4. Update any field necessary from the form.
  5. Click the “Submit” button to save changes.

How to remove OKRs?

  1. To delete OKRs, you first need to add an OKR.
  2. Click the overflow icon “(…)” and select “Delete OKR”.
  3. The “Delete OKR” modal will open
  4. Confirm the action to delete only if you are certain the OKR content is no longer needed. Deleting an OKR is an action that cannot be undone.
  5. Click the “Delete” button.

How to search OKRs?

  1. In the Home tab, click the “Search OKRs by User” button.
  2. A “Search Member OKRs” modal will open.
  3.  Type the name or username of a workspace user in the field.
  4. The modal will refresh 
    • It will display the number of OKRs and all OKRs of such user
    • If the user has no OKRs, there will be a “OKRs: 0” message. 
  5. Close or click the “Cancel” button to close the modal.

Team OKRs

What is a Team OKR?

Team OKRs are OKRs from users that added you as their Team Members. The Team OKRs on the Home tab are not created, maintained or updated by you. 

We have Team OKRs on our Home tab because an OKR should always be visible in order to be aligned in the top-level priorities. 

Teams

What is a Team?

A team consists of users added to “Team Members”. The team members will get access to your OKRs in a section called “Team OKRs”.

How to Add a Team Member?

  1. From the Home tab, click the “Team Members” button.
  2. A “Manage Team” modal will open
    • Current team members will be listed in the user field.
    • Alternatively, a empty “select users” field will list workspace users to add to your team.
  3. Type the name of the team member who you wish to add and select the team member from the list.
  4. Click the “Submit” button to save changes.

How to Remove a Team Member?

  1. From the Home tab, click the “Team members” button.
  2. A “Manage Team” modal will open.
  3. Remove a team member from your team by clicking the “X” next to the team member’s name.
    • Please read “how to remove the team?” to remove all team members.
  4.  Click the “Submit” button to save the changes.

How to Remove the Team?

  1. From the Home tab, click the “Team members” button.
  2. A “Manage Team” modal will open.
  3. Remove the entire team by clicking the “Remove Team” button.
  4. Confirm that you want to remove all of your team members at once.
  5.  Click the “Do it” button.
